Next up is Yushin Okami vs. Evan Tanner. Okami is in the cage, and here comes Tanner to the tune of Hendrix' "All Along the Watchtower."

Round 1: They circle for the first minute or so, throwing cautious strikes. Tanner landed a couple, but nothing damaging. Okami knocked Tanner down with a punch and Okami rushed in to try and finish. Tanner powered into a takedown attempt and wound up standing and forcing Okami against the fence. Tanner is bleeding. Tanner tries to dirty box against the cage. Okami gets Tanner in a clinch and tries knees, but Tanner blocks and then pushes off the clinch. They're striking again with neither guy getting a clear edge before the round ends. 10-9 Okami based on the knockdown and doing more visible damage.

Round 2: They opt to trade more with Okami landing a lot more really solid strikes this time. Tanner looks frustrated and backed off and shook his head more than once. Okami goes back to the clinch. Tanner punches Okami in the ribs and Okami answers with a left knee to the chin that puts Tanner on his back. Okami punches Tanner once more on the ground as the referee steps in to stop the fight.

Winner: Yushin Okami defeated Evan Tanner via KO due to a knee strike at 3:00 of Round 2.

Tanner looked pretty rusty, but it's honestly just as likely to be age catching up with Tanner as it is to be cage rust. Probably a combo of both.
